Stephen Damato is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Damato. He has placed hundreds of attorneys at the associate, counsel, and partner levels across the top of the AmLaw.

Stephen leans on his experience as a former Biglaw deal lawyer to quarterback the most strategic and high-value offers. He started his career as an M&A and Private Equity associate at Jones Day in New York. When his wife Sarah got into law school in the Boston area, he moved to Gunderson Dettmer to focus on the Emerging Companies/Venture Capital space.

Stephen holds a JD, cum laude, from Georgetown Law and a BA, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
